Dale Pro Audio began as Dale Electronics, a store for radio and television parts. Dale Pro Audio was founded by Stanley Lager, who grew up in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn.  In 1956, with one shelf of goods and $12,000, Stanley founded Dale Electronics at its first location on 14th Street in lower Manhattan.   

In the mid-eighties, Stanley's children joined the company. Michael Lager, Stanley's son,  would transform Dale over the next 10 years from a Sony and Panasonic parts dealer to one of the leading retailers of high end professional audio equipment in the country.   Half a century later, Dale Pro Audio is now one of the largest dealers of audio equipment for the Broadcast, Contracting, and Recording/Post production markets.  Dale Pro Audio is known for its great prices, tremendous selection, top notch technical expertise, and commitment to quality, honesty, and customer satisfaction.
