JBL 7 Series Event at Soundtrack NYC
JBL Professional recently teamed up with Dale Pro Audio and Dolby Laboratories to unveil the new JBL 7 Series in the new Dolby Atmos surround format. The event was held at the prestigious Soundtrack Studios in NYC's Flatiron District.
Hosted by JBL's Peter Chaikin and Dolby's Tom Kodros, the event provided an immersive listening and learning experience for guests from a wide variety of markets. The guests were also able to meet Dale's Broadcast Sales professionals and spend some time with the Studer Vista 1 console, which was also on display.
Jeffrey Friedlander, a senior consultant at SIA Acoustics–an acoustical design and consulting firm based in New York and Hollywood, remarked, “This was a fun and informative event. The JBL 7 series brings a combination of accuracy, definition, power, and off-axis response that I haven't seen in monitors for this application. The low frequency response and power-to-size ratio of the LSR705i was unbelievable. I'm still not sure I believe that bass was coming out of those monitors! And the Atmos system is a clear leap in surround technology. I’m excited to see how the industry will take advantage of this new tool.”
The first in JBL’s new 7 Series line, the 705i and 708i models (now shipping) answer the call for next generation multi-channel monitoring in post rooms, broadcast facilities and trucks. Leveraging patented technologies developed for the flagship M2 Master Reference Monitor, 7 Series deliver detailed imaging, extended frequency response and remarkable output from compact enclosures. Centrally amplified and tuned, and easily installed, 705i and 708i are the heart of an elegant, scalable system for broadcast and post facilities working in immersive audio formats. An End of an Era - the Retirement of the Fostex 6301BE
For decades the 6301BE monitor ($178) has been a mainstay in remote trucks, edit suites, and other production environments where space is an issue. Fostex recently announced that the 6301BE has been discontinued, but Dale is well stocked on this industry standard even though supplies are limited.
A built-in 10 watt amplifier, perfectly matched to a 10cm full range driver delivers a big sound, full of clarity from this small, versatile monitor. Best used in pairs, they accept any line level input, so they are ideal for use with instruments in project studios, on stage, in remote recording vehicles, video productions & multimedia presentations.
Manufactured from cast aluminium, these great little monitors have earned a high reputation among production, broadcast & presentation professionals for being rugged & road worthy.
Supplies are "in-stock" only, so when this classic model is gone, it's gone for good.
Dale also has a limited quantity of custom Rack Enclosures on sale while supplies last.
For more information on Fostex, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 888.462.7828.

Dale Featured in
2014 Small Business Week Expo
Amazon and Ink from Chase are
celebrating 2014 Small Business Week by profiling select sellers, and Dale Pro Audio is proud to be
one of them! Dale first began selling online via Amazon in 2010. The move was part of Dale's long
journey from humble beginnings in 1956 as a TV and Radio parts business in Lower Manhattan to becoming
a leading national Pro Audio dealer.
Lager founded the Dale in 1956 with $10.000 and a handful of inventory, and his children Michael and
Valerie (pictured at right), have carried on his legacy. The company recently expanded its sales and
warehouse space with a new location in Jamaica, Queens, while retaining the company's Manhattan
roots with a store location in the heart of the Flatiron district (a short distance from Stanley's
first shop). Dale's staff is among the best in the industry, with a wealth of experience in sales,
support, and real-world usage.
According to Valerie, “Amazon has helped Dale reach customers from all over the country,
and has increased our exposure to customers that would never have known about us."
Stanley Lager, Dale's Founder Passes | 1922 - 2014
With great sadness we announce the passing of Stanley Lager, the founder of Dale Pro Audio.
Stanley Lager founded Dale Electronics Corporation in 1956, and grew the business over the following
decades into the great Pro Audio dealership it is today, Dale Pro Audio.
An industry icon, Stanley was a friend to countless customers, manufacturers, and factory
representatives alike. He taught us all so much, and he will be greatly missed.
The Lager family appreciates everyone's sympathy at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family
welcomes donations to Meir Panim http://www.meirpanim.org/
The Lager family also welcomes expressions of condolences and remembrances of Stanley to be
